Hydroseeding is a planting process in which a slurry containing seed, hydroseeding mulch, fertilizer, and a tackifier (bonding agent) is sprayed onto the ground. The slurry is transported in a truck-mounted tank to the site and sprayed over prepared ground in a uniform layer. It promotes quick germination and inhibits soil erosion. It is also a very cost-effective alternative to sod and offers significant cost savings and many other benefits. We offer a variety of HydroMulches so we are able to custom tailor a solution to your site.
ReCover Base
ReCover Base is a hydraulically applied mulch. It is a unique blend that provides the attributes of cereal straw, hemp and wood fibres. ReCover base provides effective erosion control for light to moderate applications.
ReCover Bonded Fibre Matrix
ReCover BMF is a unique blend of wood, cereal, hemp and plant based trackifier designed for moderate to steep slopes where erosion is likely without soil protection. ReCover BMF contours closely to the soil surface creating microenvironments for seedlings to establish. ReCover BFM also acts like a moisture shield and will help slow water loss from soil, greatly enhancing the chance of plant establishment.
